More about schools, recreation, shopping & worship in the Dallas and Paulding County area.
Paulding County is steeped in history with a rich heritage preserved in its local architecture, museums, parks and historic markers found throughout the county. As is true of most southern towns, agriculture was the mainstay of the county in its earliest days with cotton mills, tanneries and brick yards making up some of its industries. Today those industries have made way for growth spurred by its proximity to Atlanta and is often referred to as a bedroom community for neighboring Cobb County.
